Asi Texeira
Asi started studying at the Muscular Therapy Institute in 2003 not really knowing what it would lead to. What led her there was her heart and what came after was an inspiration to nurture mind, body, and spirit. In turn, came realizing how bodywork can strengthen and deepen the mind/ body connection. Knowing that this connection to one’s s self can be masked by the daily grind or constant pushing. She strives to bring people back into their bodies and out of the busy mind by rehabilitating that connection.
Asi blends modalities such as Muscular Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai massage, and Reiki. She integrates these techniques based on the client and her own assessment of the body. She is also aware that not all tension is physical but very much emotional and is comfortable addressing tension in all forms. Being a mother, she is driven by giving Mothers the physical support they need during pregnancy and post-partum. Asi studied Pregnancy Massage with Elaine Stillerman the founder of Mothers’ Massage. She also offers breath work during sessions as a way to access the deeper layers of the body, a parallel to yoga, breathing into your asana.
After studying Thai Massage in Thailand she came back to the states and started practicing Yoga. This translated into a new way of deepening connection within her self. Expressing this consciousness supports her Muscular Therapy practice on so many levels.
Asi believes that if the mind and body have constant restrictions, then we don’t have the ultimate freedom, which is “Movement”. We should allow our selves to take control by letting go…

Kim Wutkiewicz
Through her commitment to mind-body practices, Kim has devoted her life to guiding clients toward their ultimate states of well-being.
Kim is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and is nationally board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
She obtained her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) after four years of study at the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), the oldest and one of the most prestigious acupuncture schools in the United States. Her formal training includes Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture, Medical Qi Gong, Reiki, Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition. Outside of NESA, Kim has treated diverse patient populations in a variety of clinical settings, including Pathways to Wellness, Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, and the Malden Family Health Center.
Throughout her adult life, Kim has consistently sought to discern patterns of health within living systems. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, she spent several years teaching environmental education and sustainable farming in Vermont. Through this work, she gleaned a fundamental understanding of the intrinsic healing capacities of the natural world. When her focus shifted from the wellness of ecological systems to the wellness of human bodies, she refined her sensitivity to the mind-body connection through the practice of meditation, yoga, and aikido.
In 2005, Kim enrolled at NESA to formally pursue a career in the healing arts. In addition to completing the required coursework, she traveled to Japan in 2009 to study Shakuju therapy, a subtle form of acupuncture that relies on the pressure of blunt needles on specific points rather than the insertion of needles into the skin. She has spent hundreds of hours assisting Kiiko Matsumoto, a renowned Japanese acupuncture practitioner, known for her mastery of receiving direct feedback from patients’ bodies. In 2010, Kim completed an intensive, six-month course on Medical Qi Gong with Paul Fraser. In addition, Kim is a 200-hour RYT certified yoga instructor. She teaches a unique flowing style of yoga, weaving concepts of Chinese Medical Philosophy into sequences of movement.
As a compassionate healer, Kim integrates her knowledge of anatomy, movement, nutrition, and Eastern energetics into her treatments to encourage each patient to achieve a state of optimal health. As a dedicated teacher, she encourages her clients to learn how to listen more carefully to the language of their bodies. Through newfound insight and sensitivity, Kim’s patients learn to confidently stand at the helm of their own healing.
